Kampala City,
too dusty.
Car wash,
quite costly.
The tax-woman?
We distaste.
No money,
more problems.
New jobs?
Never seen.
No rent?
Slums. Shacks.
Public service,
run down.
Civil servants,
stealing monies.
Big cars,
small roads.
Politicians lying;
“no change”
they sing.
The enlightened,
embrace Twitter,
rant everyday.
The unheard,
become activists,
riot daily;
“We need
another revolution”.
Jenny’s town!
Oh My!
Getting dramatic.
All hope,
given up.
Ladies are,
selling bodies.
Men are,
selling drugs.
Okay? Alright?
Ekibuga kyaffe,
si bizimbe.
