A young man stole a needle,
and his Mother never cautioned him,
with words like; “Child, do not steal!”

He stole a safety pin,
and his Mother never cautioned him,
with words like; “Child, do not steal!”

When he stole another’s chicken,
his Mother never cautioned him,
with words like; “Child, do not steal!”

Suddenly, he stole a goat.
His Mother never cautioned him;
“Child, stop stealing!”

The young boy became a young man.
Then, he stole a cow.
The cattle keepers killed him.

The young man left his Mother his ghost.
The ghost of the young man told it’s Mother;
